Start with one type of behavior, say, stepping up on your hand. Don’t pressure your birds into doing so. Just open the cage and let it go out on his own time. You can also train them into speaking by repeating words and letting them understand the context on when to say those words.
The key is to use positive reinforcement. Train them a few minutes per day. Remember that they aren’t machines and they won’t learn what you are teaching instantly. Do not pressure them as that will only tire them out.
