Sask Pork’s spring seminar series kicks off with “Practical Pig Handling & Animal Care: Tips & Tricks” with special guest Mara Rozitis from Signature Swine Solutions. Participants will get a fresh perspective on pig handling, along with down-to-earth practical tips to try out. Mara began her career in the swine industry in 1995. Having managed farms for large integrators and small independent producers alike, she saw the need for a service that brings timely, qualified, hands-on help to hog operations. These days Mara uses her skills and experience to support farms of any size and their people. She provides on-site services ranging from temporary labour to leadership training and production management. She is passionate about making work fun by finding innovative ways of looking at old problems and injecting humour when appropriate.
