Flatworms ELIMINATED 100% Removed Flatworm Exit Saltwater Coral Reef Aquarium

This is how I eliminated flat worms in my reef aquarium 100% and they never returned.

First and foremost I did not use the product as recommended. I went on directions and made my own treatment program for flatworms.

The product I used was
Salifert Flatworm Exit

Upon the first usage per recommendations, it appeared as though my flatworms were gone, but they returned a few weeks later.

These pests become an infestation quickly and typically hitchhike in on Euphyllia and mushrooms, although they can hitchhike in on anything.

When I first used the product as recommended it did kill the flatworms but they returned.

So I did the following 5 week treatment process – total of 6 treatments in a row

First Sunday – treated the tank as directed. Did the double treatment, meaning at 45 minutes in I added a second dose of treatment. I turkey bartered the rock to ensure complete treatment. Then ran carbon for an hour, did a 10% water change, and put everything back to normal note I refreshed the carbon and continued to run it. I also never turned off my skimmer

Next Sunday. Did a treatment. Turkey baster the rock, ran carbon, did 10% water change, put everything back to normal. Note I refreshed the carbon and continued to run carbons continuously and never shot off my skimmer.

Next Sunday, third treatment. Did a treatment. Turkey baster the rock, ran carbon, did 10% water change, put everything back to normal. Note I refreshed the carbon and continued to run carbons continuously and never shot off my skimmer.

Next Sunday, fourth treatment. Did a treatment. Turkey baster the rock, ran carbon, did 10% water change, put everything back to normal. Note I refreshed the carbon and continued to run carbons continuously and never shot off my skimmer.

Next Sunday, fifth treatment. Did a treatment. Turkey baster the rock, ran carbon, did 10% water change, put everything back to normal. Note I refreshed the carbon and continued to run carbons continuously and never shot off my skimmer.

Next Sunday, sixth treatment. Did a treatment. Turkey baster the rock, ran carbon, did 10% water change, put everything back to normal. Note I refreshed the carbon and continued to run carbons continuously and never shot off my skimmer

Flatworms have a 6 week life cycle so this captured the entire life cycle so I stopped at this point and my issue was completely resolved.

I didn’t lose any fish or coral throughout the entire process. .
