How to Introduce Pet Rats
Introducing rats can take awhile so be patient.
Step 1- Quarantine ( )
Step 2- Cages side by side
Step 3- Swap cages for a few about half an hour
Step 4- Introduce them on neutral ground
Step 5- Introduce them in free range area
Step 6- Place new rat(s) in clean cage with no food or hides
Watch for a hunched back side ways aggressive stance. Boxing is okay just make sure they are not thrashing around.
