Cat Playpen Uses, Tips, and Setup
I made this video while my outdoor cat Charcoal was in the playpen. He was sick and needed to stay inside for a week so that I could give him medicine twice a day.
I’ve used a cat playpen to foster cats, a mom cat with kittens, socialize feral kittens, and help feral cats that needed to be contained before being released.
This is a 61-inch playpen, which is large enough for a litter box, cat carrier, and blankets. Also, a trap will fit inside this playpen for when helping a feral cat.
We had an issue once with a cat pushing through the zipper door, so now I use traps (you could use whatever) to block the doors when the cat is alone in the playpen. The trap prevents the cat from being able to push through the zipper.
