First Grader Asks For Pet Unicorn In Adorable Letter To LA Animal Control

A lot of kids ask their parents for pet dogs or fish, but Los Angeles first grader Madeline had something else in mind — a unicorn! To be sure she could keep the unicorn in her backyard, Madeline sent an adorable letter to the LA County Department of Animal Care and Control asking for permission, and to her surprise, they sent her an official unicorn license. Madeline dials-in along with her mom Leilani and the Director of LA County Dept. of Animal Care and Control Marcia to share how the adorable request is now being used to help animals through the Magical Unicorn Fund.
