Top 5 Worst Beginner Pet Reptiles Sold At Pet Stores

There are a lot of great pet reptiles out there! While there are plenty of species that are easy to research, find, and keep for newcomers to the hobby, today we are going to talk about some that aren’t.
In this video I’m going to talk about five species that are unfortunately fairly easy to find in most pet stores despite them not being the best candidate for a pet for someone new to reptile keeping.These reptiles have fairly advanced requirements either due to their size, diet, housing requirements, or other factors that make them far more challenging to take care of than the 40-70 dollar price tag would initially let on! I’ve sadly dealt with a lot of surrenders of these species from people that struggled with the care these animals need.
