It’s time to put things in motion, specifically, your in-tank flow. How do you do that? In this episode, we’ll review what powerheads do for your tank and how to use them. We’ll share how they differ from return pumps and go over the differences between AC powerheads and DC powerheads. We’ll also discuss how to find the right size for your tank by calculating your Tank Turnover Rate.
PRO- TIPS:
► Place one powerhead higher than the other. More surface agitation = more gas exchange.
► Mix up the flow! DC pumps = vary the speed. AC pumps = turn on/off.
