Former drug addicts, Katelyn, 29, and Jeffrey, 36, were both battling deadly drug habits when their love of dogs and each other saved them. Katelyn was hooked on heroin while she was living in Huntington Beach, California, while in Seattle, Washington, Jeffery was abusing painkillers, heroin and meth. In September 2015, Jeffrey moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where Katelyn was living at the time close to her family, and they met through mutual friends. The two bonded over their love for dogs and they fell in love with each other, getting married this year.
