Dog Care Tips

🐶My dogs medicine cabinet! There are tips for pet health & emergencies ! #doghealth #dog #doghelp

Hi everyone! It’s Jake & Abbeys mom!
I have the pleasure of administering several dog groups across social media & also do product testing for a few companies.
I get asked what is kept in my dogs medicine cabinet… here is what I keep.

NOTE: everything has been APPROVED BY MY VETS, and I use them with my dogs who have no medical issues, except Jake has a thyroid disorder.. and that is why I ask my vet before adding anything to the routine.

I like to keep natural products on hand as well as products for emergencies.
Good things to have are : gas pills (in case of possible bloat- give and then rush to vet!) , famotidine (stomach upset/reflux), slippery elm (stomach upset, ibs)- add to water and make paste, ear wipes, marshmallow root (nausea- ask vet dosage), Cerenia (RX only! Must get from vet for vomiting/nausea), premium cans of dog food (use as topper in case of reluctance to eat), bone broth (healthy addition to food & helps picky eaters!), calming bites (MUST ASK VET.. in case of interaction with medicines) , freeze dried raw food toppers (picky eater), Benadryl (in case of spider bite , bee sting, severe allergic reaction.. always ask vet if possible if never used before! You’ll need dosage from vet), and gland ex powder- to prevent & treat anal gland issues!

Hope this was helpful!!!!
