Winter poses a risk for cats due to their sensitive ears, paws and skinny tails. There are many ways to help keep your cat safe during this time of the year.
1. Cats are very susceptible to cold weather and should be indoors in winter time.
2. Keep windows and doorways closed to reduce drafts that can lead to a cat getting chilled.
3. Provide a heated blanket for cats who like to sleep on window sills or near vents that are providing heat from the furnace or fireplace.
