Aquarium Kissing Gourami Fish Care

The aquarium pink Kissing Gourami tank Care Guide here. You don’t see as many of these fish as you used to. It’s kind of weird how these fish fluctuate in popularity every couple different years. I find that the kissing Gourami doesn’t usually fully grow to its full size because people are taking proper care of them.

Tank Mates –

More random talk on fish:
Hi everyone. I need some help here. I bought and put 5 angel fish in my fish tank. 4 hours later, their fins and tails start to rot. Is it a disease? I have already conditioned the water and put in beneficial bacteria prior to adding of the angel fish. And I have also tested that the ammonia level is safe.

Kiss Each Other –

Ok guys so my betta just disappeared over night! I’ve searched the whole tank took it about and everything looked all around the tank and nothing! Has anyone ever had this happen before??? Im thinking aliens.

I had a platy do this. No where it could go.. no body. Just gone.. I think it must have died and the other fish gobbled it up asap I guess? I’ve had multiple fish try to commit suicide. Thanks to my dog trying to play with them in the carpet I was able to save them.

Once when I was @ Petco the guy selling me fish said I could put my Betta in with other fish as long as it wasn’t another Betta so being stupid I took his word… Woke up to nothing but a Betta head floating in my tank the next morning… Was so sad. My neon tetras go missing one by one and the numbers dwindle. No carcasses. No beached whales. Notta. Aliens for sure.

They can jump, I would check behind the tank, under the stand, on the floor, etc. If you have pets like a cat or dog they might have eaten him off the floor. Did you check your filters and stuff? Any other fish in the tank? My pleco has also just disappear its 4 days today. I ve looked everywhere and nowhere to be found. I have no pets just kids.

If you have any decorations with holes in the bottom, it could get stuck. I found a skeleton of a betta in a used tank decoration. The woman thought it had jumped out and a pet might have got it, but My nerite disappeared this week. Also my dwarf gourami went missing for 12 hours but he was just stuck between back of tank and driftwood.

ah I don’t think that’s the case because my lid is solid so I gotta trim back the plants and take a look in the nooks and crannies. Did that whole year the tank apart thing before only to have my female betta magically reappear 2 days later. Sooo be forewarned.

Lol had this happen today with one of my platys. Came home from work and noticed I was missing a fish, can’t find it anywhere even searched for it during my water change. Filter had no fish body in it either. Only thing I can think of is my cat got into my tank maybe.

My friend had this happen with a goldfish. Took everything out of the tank and all that was in there was her other goldfish and pleco. A week later she woke up and her missing goldfish was floating at the top of the tank. We still have no idea what happened. Green water is a symptom of the imbalance in the tank as it is a direct result of the imbalance. Treating for green water is treating a symptom. Fixing the imbalance is fixing the problem.

My advice would be the same that Danny suggested, but I would use the word cause, not the word problem.

Using a UV will work too, but remember you will need to replace the bulb in it and keep using it unless you fix the initial cause of the problem… your call.Man, you UV guys are sensitive as hell. Not my fault you wasted your money. Can they clear up green water? Yep. Can you avoid green water altogether with knowledge? Yep. Problem solved. Maybe do t let an internet stranger hurt your feelings so bad.

My nephew went to a fall festival and won this little guy as a prize. I personally dont agree with using animals as prizes but his parents brought him to me since I already have fish and had the space for him temporarily

Need help identifying what kinda goldfish this is, they said the rest of the fish were orange so I’m assuming it’s a goldfish anyway. I probably won’t keep him and will give him to my lfs since I keep fancies and already have the stock I want. I’m actually trying to downsize my number of tanks. this little guy just happens to be in my back up 29g, yes its cycled, for now. Water is a little messy I fed a small bit of flakes to try and get him out from hiding. I examined it and looks to be no ich or anything although his shiny scales keep tricking me into thinking he has ich.
