4 Proven + Healthy Reasons Why Your Cat Needs Fresh GRASS!

Do you ever wonder why your kitty wants to nibble your houseplants? There’s a reason cats injest grass and other plants…it’s healthy for them! In the wild, cats small and large make small amounts of grass part of their diets. Housecoats depend on their caregiver – You – to provide safe, fresh greens for them. In this video, I will explain four reasons your cat needs grass, and will also show you just how cheap and easy it is to grow on your windowsill! We will also learn why some cats will throw up after eating plants, and why it isn’t usually a bad thing at all.

In fact, there are some amazing “Grow Yourself” cat grass kits available that have everything you need to start your own pussycat garden…all you do is water and set in a sunny spot and watch it grow! I have linked to a few of my favorite kits and seeds here:

I also believe that daily cat grass has increased their stomach and gastrointestinal health, and everyone poops regular now! Since constipation can be a problem with housecoats, some fresh greens will really help to move everything along.

Be sure to only give your cats safe grasses like the ones listed above, not all plants are safe for cats! Here is a great link about what plants are SAFE for cats and some that are NOT:
