The best pet skink is a Schneider’s skink. This is a bold statement but there really isn’t anything as cool and handleable as these amazing lizards. Sometimes called Berbers skinks, these little lizards are such goofy and fun little guys. Of all the reptile or lizard species I have kept, I have not seen or held many as fun as the Schneider’s skink.
