1. Patrolling Their Territory
Cats may think of their territory not only indoors, but also outdoors that they can see at the window. When they look outside, they may patrol their territory with their eyes. But it does not mean that they wanna go out. Don’t let indoor cats go out easily.

It is said that the ancestors of cats lived in desert areas. Cats tend to like warm places and they are sensitive to cold. So, if your cat is sitting in the sunny window, she may be sunbathing. Cats like windows because it’s warm and they can see outside.

Cats feel secure in their own territory. Indoor cats don’t feel depressed about not going outside. Rather, they can get stressed out in unfamiliar environments. If your cat seems bored at home, you can try getting cat furniture such as cat towers and cat wheels, or hunting toys.
