FEEDING WILD RABBITS ~ HOW TO FEED A WILD RABBIT ~ COTTONTAIL RABBITS ~ Backyard Nature Shared

Wild cottontail rabbits visit my yard daily, so I put food out for them. I have fed a rabbit pellet mixture that includes: pellets, dried flowers, carrots & spinach and also loose oat & timothy hay. I enjoy watching them enjoying the food offerings. It’s cute how they will hop into the dish to eat, then hop back out and start to eat their natural diet again, consisting of grass and weeds. The food I put out is in small amounts and only a treat. There is also a water dish that they share with the birds.
