CHANGE A PET'S LIFE DAY! 🐾 You Can Improve a Cat's Life
Change A Pet’s Life Day was created to encourage people to adopt pets or otherwise help animals. So, Cuddling Cats Kwazi and Uli and Ginger Grrrl too came up with 8 ways you have help make a cat’s life better.
1. Adopt – One great way to make a pet’s life better to to give him a home.
2. Teach – Spread the word about animal abuse. Help others know how to detect if an animal is being abused and how to help get the animal to a safe situation. Read more at
3. Learn – Learn about the many ways people can better care for their own cats. Ginger has some suggestions for you at
4. Enrich – make and or buy toys and puzzles to enrich your cats life.
5. Bond – Just taking time to play with, groom, and pet your cat will improve her life!
6. Volunteer – Call a shelter or rescue organization and find out how to help.
7. Foster – You may not be able to adopt a cat but Shelters need people to temporarily care for kittens. Call them up and ask about fostering.***
8. Share – Spread the word about ways to help make a pet’s life. Share this video on social media!
***The foster cats featured in today’s video, Wigglebutt and Jeff, were saved by foster Mom and cat author Dusty Rainbolt!
Wigglebutt was infested with fleas and infection, and Jeffy was traumatized and suffering from seizures. Ms Rainbolt has taken them in and nursed them back to health. In our book, Dusty Rainbolt and her husband Wames are true heroes!
Wigglebutt’s becoming what is called a “foster failure.” Ms. Rainbolt and Wames have fallen in love with her and decided to keep her. Handsome Jeff will be up for adoption.

😼😸 Kwazi is the black cat who loves to cuddle. Uli is the tabby who’s a crazy extrovert. The kitties are step-brothers and were born in 2013.
🐈 – Ginger is our formerly feral cat who started hanging around our neighborhood. This tiny toughie moved into our home in August 2021 and now our third 100% time indoor kitty.
