Small Animal Care Tips

Caring for Animals in Cold Weather + How a Differential Works

At -5 degrees Fahrenheit, caring for animals in the cold can be a challenge. Cattle and chickens don’t mind the cold too much, but pigs need to be kept dry with bedding for a little insulation from the cold. I’m spending the day indoors as much as possible, and I spend some time working on the Farmall MD. I take apart the differential and explain how differentials work, disassemble the rear axles, and give an update on new parts I’m ordering for the tractor.
